Creating a child’s Account

To enable parental controls on ITVX, you’ll first need to create a dedicated profile for your child.

Step 1 - Open the ITVX app

• Tap the plus sign (+) labelled Kids Profile.

Step 2 - Enter your child’s details

• Type their name and select CREATE.

This profile will only display child-friendly content. However, children could still switch to an adult profile unless you activate additional parental controls.

Setting Up Parent Controls

• Open ITVX and select your profile (the parent/adult account)
• Access profile settings by clicking your profile picture in the top-right corner
• Choose "Edit Profiles" from the menu
• Select your own profile to modify its settings
• Enable Parental Controls by toggling the switch on
• Create a 4-digit PIN when prompted (required for future access to this profile)
• Confirm your settings by clicking "Done" - you'll see a padlock icon appear
• Verification- The padlock confirms your child can't access this profile without the PIN
