iTunes setup for parents
Step 1- Launch iTunes
Open the iTunes application on your computer.
Step 2 - Access Preferences
Mac users
: From the top menu bar, select 'iTunes' >'Preferences'
Windows users
: From the iTunes window menu, select 'Edit' >'Preferences'
Step 3 - Open Restrictions
Click the 'Restrictions' tab in the Preferences window.
Step 4 - Enable Parental Controls
Select 'Parental Controls' to begin configuration.
Step 5 - Customise Restrictions
Disable specific content types (podcasts, shared music, etc.)
Set rating limits for movies, TV shows, and apps using the right-side menus
Step 6 - Secure Your Settings
Click the lock icon in the lower-left corner
Enter your administrator password to prevent unauthorized changes
(Note: You'll need to unlock with this password to make future adjustments)
Step 7 - Set Maturity Levels (Optional)
Return to the homescreen, select the profile icon, then choose 'Manage Profiles' to set maturity levels for specific accounts.
Step 8 - Save Changes - Click 'OK' to confirm and apply all restrictions.
