Parental controls guide
If your child is 13 or older, they can use party (group) voice chat in Fall Guys by joining a party. This lets them talk to other players through a headset. To keep them safer, consider applying restrictions.
To adjust voice chat settings:
1. Step 1 – On the main menu, click the gear icon in the top right corner. On PC, you can also press the ESC key.
2. Step 2 – Choose AUDIO from the menu, then scroll to PARTY VOICE CHAT. Use the toggle to turn chat on or off. If you turn it on, check the Epic Games Store parental settings to limit voice chat to Friends Only.
During gameplay, your child can see other players’ usernames and platforms. While usernames are monitored, some may still be inappropriate.
To turn off usernames:
1. While playing Fall Guys, players can hide usernames by following on-screen instructions. The option usually appears in a corner of the screen and may vary slightly depending on the platform.
Sometimes players may cheat or use offensive names, which can affect your child’s experience. You can report these players directly in the game.
To report another player:
1. Step 1 – Your child can report someone during gameplay or while spectating after being eliminated. Names of players appear in the bottom corner. Select the name of the person you want to report.
2. Step 2 – A pop-up will appear. Confirm the correct player is selected, choose a reason for the report, then click SUBMIT.
Show your child how to report players and explore Fall Guys’ Rules of Conduct together to help them recognise inappropriate behaviour.
Fall Guys uses in-game purchases to generate revenue, even though the game itself is free. Setting restrictions helps prevent overspending.
To understand how purchases work:
1. Step 1 – From the main menu, click the shopping trolley icon at the top of the screen.
2. Step 2 – Fall Guys uses Show-Bucks as currency. These can be used to buy items or passes. Select SHOW-BUCKS to view available packages.
3. Step 3 – After selecting a package, press or hold the CONFIRM button to continue to the payment screen. If a card is already saved and no parental controls are active, your child can complete the purchase.
To prevent this, set a PIN using the Epic Games Store parental controls.
Children under 13 who create an Epic Games account will have a cabined account until a parent gives permission to unlock more features.
What cabined accounts do:
• Cabined accounts allow access to Fall Guys and other Epic games with restrictions. These include no access to voice chat, in-game purchases, or new notifications. Any previously owned content will still be available.
• Parents must provide consent to change this.

Parental controls for Fall Guys can be managed at different levels: in the game itself, through the Epic Games Store, and on the device used to play.
