Channel 4 Parental Controls
All rated content - Requires PIN for 16+ rated material
18+ content only - Only restricts 18+ rated content
All age ratings are determined by the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification).
Step 1 - Sign in to your account
- Go to Channel4.com and click "Sign in to My4"
Step 2 - Access account settings
- Once signed in, click "My4" at the top of the homepage
- From the dropdown menu, select "Account Settings"
Step 3 - Navigate to parental controls
- In Account Overview, select "Parental Controls" from the side menu
- Click "Edit" under "Manage parental controls"
Step 4 - Set your restrictions
Choose between:
- All rated content: Requires PIN for 16+ content
- 18+ rated content: Requires PIN for 18+ content only
Step 5- Create and save your PIN
- Enter your chosen4-digit PIN in the boxes provided
- Click "Save" to confirm your settings
