Women of Grace UK’s partnership with Every Child Online has been truly impactful. The devices provided have empowered young people, opening access to learning, personal development and wellbeing support. Surplus tech now supports our programmes and helps children stay connected, build skills and thrive. For many families, it’s been life-changing—breaking isolation and boosting confidence. We’re deeply grateful and commend ECO for creating lasting impact.

Thank you again for the mobile phones for our young people—they’re making a big difference to their lives. Here's some of their feedback: “I can’t believe they gave me an iPhone; I’m so happy,” “They’re sound for giving me a phone,” “My family and social worker can contact me now,” and “I’m no longer the only person without a phone.”

We are wanting to raise the attainment and aspirations of our students many of whom have no devices at home. Enabling our students access in school is so important and this will make such a difference.

Music Production is another example of how music education is the most expensive extracurricular activity for young people – with a typical set up costing around £1,200 per person. The new partnership with Every Child Online works towards helping to give all young people equal opportunities to enhance skills that can be taken into adulthood.

Every Child Online closes the digital divide by transforming surplus laptops, PCs and phones into tools that help young people learn, create, connect and stay safe. Through its “IT Full Circle” approach, each donation becomes a journey from unused tech to confident, capable users. For vulnerable children, access can be a lifeline—keeping them contactable and supported. As a Local Authority, we find ECO invaluable in supporting our young people.

Our employability work reveals how many families still lack digital equipment. We approached Every Child Online and they were amazing—now partners, we’ve helped over 300 families and individuals in Basildon close that divide. A joint giveaway changed family dynamics, and with our new Eastgate centre we’re excited to grow the collaboration. Thank you, Mike and team—you’re our digital heroes.

We discovered Every Child Online in 2022 and, since then, our unused IT has gone nowhere else. As a family-run business, we’re passionate about giving back—donating our old laptops and computers supports digital learning and helps young people build skills they need to succeed. We’re honoured to keep contributing to their mission and supporting their incredible work.

Digital poverty stops too many children and young people reaching their potential. Every Child Online closes this gap by donating high-spec refurbished devices. Working with ECO unites our people, linking IT teams to projects aligned with our Thrive Together programme and 2030 goals. Partnering with ECO creates impact beyond our direct involvement and leaves a lasting legacy. Their reach is growing, and we’re excited to keep building together.

It’s been a pleasure to work with Every Child Online and see the difference our donations make.
