POSITION: FUNDRAISING AND GRANT APPLICATION VOLUNTEER
ORGANISATION: EVERY CHILD ONLINE
LOCATION: BASILDON OFFICE AND HOME
TYPE: PART-TIME / SHARED POSITION (FLEXIBLE HOURS) 
REMUNERATION: UNPAID/VOLUNTEER POSITION (Potential for paid employment based on successful fundraising efforts)

Every Child Online is a dedicated charity committed to providing underprivileged children with access to education and digital resources. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate Fundraising and Grant Application Volunteer to join our team and support our efforts in expanding our social and environmental impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential funding sources, to support Every Child Online’s projects.
  • Develop and submit compelling grant applications, highlighting Every Child Online charitable alignment with the donating trust’s own mission and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the team to create and implement imaginative fundraising events that inspire corporate and public financial donations.
  • Coordinate and manage fundraising activities, including donor cultivation, sponsorships, and community engagement.
  • Actively participate in planning and organising charity events, ensuring seamless execution, and maximising participation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners to foster long-term support for Every Child Online.
  • Stay updated on fundraising trends, strategies, and best practices to continuously improve fundraising efforts.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in applying for small, medium, and large grants, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated expertise in setting up imaginative fundraising events that inspire corporate and public financial donations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling grant applications and engage potential donors.
  • Strong Organisational and project management abilities, ensuring smooth execution of fundraising initiatives.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
  • Passionate about Every Child Online’s mission and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged children.
