Wome of Grace Partnership

Women of Grace are a UK charity that advocates against the practice of female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C) and all forms of gender-based violence.

The charity was founded in 2022 by Valerie Lolomari, a survivor of FGM/C, who wants to empower women and girls like herself to recognise abuse and signpost them to the necessary help.

Women of Grace UK offers several key services, including female empowerment courses, educational online workshops for women, and peer support sessions. While they continue to push for an end to FGM/C, their work has had a significant impact on their community.

Working closely with partners including The Clothworkers Foundation, Lush, and Essex County Council has enabled them to reach more women and raise awareness about these issues. Additionally, they have helped to break down stigmas regarding mental health for women of minority groups and offer the right support.

As a partner of Every Child Online, we have donated a number of free Vodafone SIM cards, mobile phones, and laptops to Women of Grace UK.

This equipment has been particularly important for their work with young refugees. A SIM card, laptop, and mobile phone reconnects them with the outside world, whether that be calling family back home, joining a community, or receiving support for their mental health. Using our refurbished devices, these young refugees no longer have to feel alone.

We are truly inspired by the work that Women of Grace continues to do and are proud to be able to support them in their mission against FGM/C.
