Every Child Online is an ambitious start-up charity, our goal is to help close the digital divide and play a significant role in ending digital poverty.
Digital poverty is not just a pandemic problem, the pandemic has simply highlighted the immense scale of the issue in the UK, it has also put a spotlight on a list of real-life issues faced by those without access to the internet in modern Britain.
Since the start of our mission to tackle digital poverty and improve the online and digital education of our children and young people, we have received over twelve thousand donated laptops and PCs from companies and the public across the country. To date, Every Child Online has received, refurbished and donated for free; over 6 million pounds of devices to schools, educational clubs, Social Service Departments and other charitable organisations supporting underprivileged children and young adults.
We are asking UK companies, IT managers and individuals – Please consider donating your old surplus PCs and laptops to Every Child Online. If you’re planning to upgrade your IT equipment, or maybe if you are a business with shelves full of older PCs, laptops and monitors and are unsure what to do with them, don’t hesitate to contact us.
We provide professional and secure ITAD services to hundreds of UK businesses. We accept devices with or without hard drives and of all ages. In addition to repurposing your old technology, any broken or unusable devices are harvested for spare parts or broken down and fully recycled. Click here for details about our refurbishment services
Together We Close The Digital Divide
UK companies are joining the IT Full Circle Movement
Businesses across the UK are adopting an IT Full Circle philosophy and donating their surplus PCs and laptops to Every Child Online.
UK schools face a daily struggle to keep digital learning a practical part of a child’s education and an almost impossible task to support those without access to a device at home.
You can help Every Child Online provide schools and children with the right digital tools, enabling learning with the type of software they will eventually use in the workplace. The IT Full Circle movement is about improving the digital skills of our children and maintaining our industry’s use of home-grown talent in the years to come.
Our goal is to encourage every UK company to consider the benefits of donating their surplus IT equipment. IT assets donated by businesses tend to be much higher spec than schools can afford, even at a refurbishment value. Together, we provide schools with the ability to access software like Windows office apps, coding programs and graphic design applications, all requiring devices with good processing power
