About Every Child Online:

Every Child Online is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to providing access to online education and resources for underprivileged children. Our mission is to bridge the digital divide and ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive in the digital age. We work with corporate sponsors to raise funds, encourage companies to donate their surplus IT Equipment.

Job Description:

Every Child Online is seeking a motivated and passionate Marketing Communication Volunteer to support our efforts in promoting the charity’s services, charitable causes, and our sponsors’ involvement in our success. As a Marketing Communication Volunteer, you will play a crucial role in expanding our reach and creating awareness about our initiatives and activities. This is an ideal opportunity for a marketeer looking to get back into work a marketing student, or someone looking to gain experience and contribute to a meaningful cause.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing communication strategies to promote Every Child Online’s services and charitable causes.
  • Assist in the creation of engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tik Tok, to raise awareness and engage with our target audience.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to create visually appealing graphics, videos, and other multimedia content using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
  • Help manage and monitor social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Support the coordination and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, online advertisements, and influencer partnerships.
  • Assist in tracking and analysing marketing campaign performance using analytics tools to provide insights and suggestions for improvement.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and contribute innovative ideas for marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, or related fields is preferred.
  • Proficient in using social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, adobe Express) or similar software for content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Passionate about Every Child Online’s mission and the impact of digital access on children’s and young adults’ education.
  • Ability to commit to a flexible part-time schedule and meet deadlines.
