An Essex based start-up charity, which has donated over two million worth of refurbished computers to Essex and London based schools, has announced a major fundraising event on Saturday, June 11th at the grounds of Parsonage Farm, Kelvedon Hatch in Brentwood, Essex.

The event, called The Big Essex Mud Run, is offering two mud run races which start at various time slots throughout the morning. THE BIG FOREST RUN is an exciting obstacle course through acres of beautiful woodland, a brilliant event for kids 6 to 12 and their brave parents. THE BIG 5K OBSTACLE RUN – is a fun and exciting run for teens and adults, prepare to get muddy and wet running these unique obstacles, run as a team or at your own pace. After your run join other runners and spectators in the Village area for, great food, market stalls, games, and a drink or two!

Mike Tarbard, the event organiser and Co-Founder of Every Child Online comments. “We have organised this event to fundraise for Every Child Online and to celebrate all we have achieved in the two years since the charity started. Every Child Online aims to continue refurbishing computers and laptops donated by the public and UK businesses, but we need to raise funds to achieve our goals”. Every Child Online has been able to swap out entire classrooms full of outdated computers with refurbished, much higher spec devices donated by the public, business owners and IT Managers.

The Big Essex Mud Run is an event for colleagues, family, and friends, to come together and celebrate family fun, to enjoy the outdoors, enjoy street food and beer tents, it’s also an excellent event for running, climbing, swinging and sliding about in the muddy Essex countryside.
